Bass drum mallets

 

fsc-allBass drum heads are made in two sizes, 55 and 65 mm in diameter. For smaller heads beech or maple shafts of thickness 20 mm are used and the total length of the mallet is 40.5 cm. For larger heads we use 22 mm shafts and the total length of the bigger mallet is 41cm. Mallets are ergonomically designed with a slight extension to the end and are finished with matte polyurethane lacquer.

C1 – sewn felt, smaller (universal medium hardness mallet for small and medium instruments)
C2 – sewn felt, bigger (universal medium hardness mallet for instruments of medium and big sizes)
Inside the felt surface, there is a compressed non-woven fabric of medium weight category. Total weight of C1 mallet with beech shaft is about 125 grams, C2 – 185 grams.
C3 – sewn brushed leather (hard mallet for small and medium instruments)
C4 – sewn leather cut, bigger (hard mallet for instruments of medium and big sizes)
Inner filling consist of tough, tightly rolled felt. C3 weighs 135 grams and C4 almost 200g.This mallets have flapping attack, good articulate character, flapping attack and thunderous finish. They are also applicable to smaller tams-tams and gongs of larger dimensions.
C5 – false pelt, smaller (soft mallet for small and medium instruments)
C6 – false felt, larger (soft mallet for instruments of medium and big sizes)
Inside the felt surface, there is a compressed non-woven fabric of medium weight category. False pelt will bring the smooth roll with natural bass frequencies of the instrumnet. Weight of C5 mallet with beech shaft is 120g, C6 – 180 grams.

 

fsc-7C7 –  wooden head 6,5 cm in diameter, covered with exclusive chamois give maximum attack and clear sound of each stroke. CNC manufactured head from light pine wood and maple shaft are there for precise playing in complicated rythmic figures.
